Little Explorers Class

A nature-based Forest School class for children ages 0–2 and their grown-ups.

Little Explorers is an invitation to slow down, follow your child’s natural curiosity, and discover the wonder of the natural world together. Expect plenty of time for unhurried exploration, nature connection, and following the children’s lead.

Come connect with your child, build friendships with other families, and spend time together in the woods and field through songs, sensory play, nature exploration, and simple seasonal experiences designed especially for our youngest forest explorers.

Each Little Explorers session runs for four weeks. Two fall sessions are available; families are welcome to choose one session or join us for both.

Session 1 — Thursdays, 9:30–11:00 a.m.
October 15, 22, 29, and November 5

Session 2 — Mondays, 10:00–11:30 a.m.
November 9, 16, 23, 30

Little Explorers is led by Meggan Fletcher, a longtime forest wanderer, mother of five, and early childhood educator. Meggan holds an M.S. in Child and Family Studies with a concentration in Early Childhood Education and has more than a decade of experience teaching young children in a variety of settings, including Knox Forest School.

Price for one family is $100 per session
